We are the heart/lung transplant, LVAD, TAH, stroke, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac floor.

We care for adult patients and treat a patient population that has a variety of diagnoses covering multiple systems.

Main OR

Containing 16 operating rooms, our department performs a vast range of procedures.

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

After receiving anesthesia for a surgery or procedure, a patient is sent to the PACU to recover and wake up.

Surgical Admissions Pre/Post Op

We prepare patients for the simplest procedures to more complex procedures like cardiovascular and transplants.

Advanced Endoscopy

Our advanced endoscopy procedures include ERCP’s, endoscopic ultrasound, fecal transplantation, and BRAVO.

Pre-Admissions Testing

The PAT department helps prepare patients undergoing surgical procedures at Baptist, Medical Plaza, and Portland.

Medical Plaza - Outpatient Surgery

We perform a variety of surgical procedures for patients covering the entire spectrum of the age continuum.

Interventional Radiology

The nurses in IR are generally ICU, ED, or otherwise critical care-trained professionals.

Cath Lab

Our unit is fast-paced and cares for a wide variety of high-acuity patients with the most complex cardiac issues.

Cardiovascular OR

We have four cardiovascular/thoracic ORs, one hybrid, a cross between a cardiovascular OR and a cath lab.
