Child Life Practicum

This program is currently on hold and not accepting applications.

The Child Life program at INTEGRIS Health Children’s at Baptist Medical Center follows the Association of Child Life Professionals pre-internship learning modules and is committed to providing meaningful education and training for prospective child life professionals. Our Child Life Practicum is an introductory level experience organized to give students the opportunity to gain insight and exposure to the child life profession, as well as help students understand the unique needs of hospitalized children and their families. Practicum students will participate in an observation based experience with a Certified Child Life Specialist during a multitude of clinical interventions. Our Child Life Practicum is a 5 week program, allowing practicum students to gain approximately 160 hours of experience.

For further questions and information, please email the Child Life Practicum Coordinator at: [email protected].
