INTEGRIS Health Children's at Baptist Medical Center

Child Life Internship

This program is currently on hold and not accepting applications.

At INTEGRIS Health Children’s, our Child Life Internship follows the standards, requirements and competencies set forth by the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP).

Our internship program provides opportunities to gain education, skills, experience, and competency related to professional responsibility, assessment, and clinical interventions in a hospital setting, focusing on hospitalized children and families.

During the internship experience, interns will evolve skills surrounding development in the hospital setting and further explore how to verbalize the “why” for interactions, as well as complete assignments and projects for further development. Our internship program provides adequate preparation and training for the Child Life Certification Exam and entering the Child Life career field.

For additional questions and information, please email the Child Life Internship Coordinator at: [email protected].
