Individualized care for each surgical patient is provided by a team of experienced professionals, which includes the surgeon, anesthesiologist, registered nurse, and surgical technologist. INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center has dedicated anesthesiologists which provide easier opportunities for scheduling surgical procedures as well as reduce potential delays.
INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center Center offers a preadmission clinic a few days before a patient’s surgery. Patients have the opportunity to have pre-surgery and lab procedures completed in advance, before the surgery is performed, reducing the need to reschedule surgery dates.
Outpatient surgical patients are able to leave within a few hours after the procedure, so that they are able to rest in their own homes the same day. Diagnostic endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and esophagogastroduodenoscopies are performed in our Endoscopic Suites.
