Meet Our Staff for the INTEGRIS Health Pastoral Care group.
Chaplain Brian graduated with his Doctor of Ministry degree in 2022 from George W. Truett Seminary at Baylor University, where his doctoral project was entitled, “Listening to the Spiritual Lives of Children at INTEGRIS Health Mental Health Spencer.” He graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2011 with a Master of Divinity and graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts.
He became Board Certified through the Association of Professional Chaplains in 2013, and is endorsed for hospital chaplaincy by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
Brian began his career at INTEGRIS Health in 2011 when he was a Clinical Pastoral Education resident, and he’s had the privilege of serving as Staff Chaplain at INTEGRIS Health Mental Health Spencer, INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, and INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center.
Chaplain Noel Gray received a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Ethics from Mid America Christian University, and a Master of Divinity in 2009 from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received a second Master’s Degree in Psychology in 2018. She is ordained and endorsed by the Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Chaplain Noel became board certified in 2011 after completing 8 units of CPE and a two-year residency program at INTEGRIS Health.
She is the Senior Pastor of Refuge Fellowship Church. She is currently Supervising Clinical Pastoral Education and finishing her Doctorate in transformational ministries for women. Noel’s areas of specialty are mental health, social justice in health care, and end of life.
She is currently the clinical pastoral educator at INTEGRIS Health. Rev. Noel is the Co-Author of the book I am Woman Enough, which is a bestseller on Amazon. Noel has three adult children and four grandchildren.
Chaplain Brent Ashby received his Bachelor’s degree from Ozark Christian College, his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is ordained in the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. Dr. Brent has been a staff chaplain with INTEGRIS Health since February 2019 and was awarded board certification in May 2022.
He is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner. His specialties include end of life care, geriatrics, dementia, and spiritual formation. He is married and has two fur children (dogs) at home. Brent and his wife have a son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren who live in Norman. Hobbies include reading, music and movies, and cheering on all teams in OU sports.
Chaplain Craig Thomas received a Bachelor of Arts from Central State University (UCO) in 1982 and Master of Divinity from Liberty University in 2009. He completed one year of Clinical Pastoral Education at INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center and hospice chaplain for five years before coming aboard with INTEGRIS Health Portland Avenue in 2019.
He served twenty-five years in the military with thirteen years as chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserves. He is endorsed through the Coalition of Spirit-Filled Churches. His fields of specialty include end of life and palliative care. He is married with four adult children.
Chaplain Don Reece is proud to be serving in his hometown of Oklahoma City. Don received a Bachelor of Music degree from Baylor University and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as an ordained minister on the pastoral staff of several churches during his career in Texas, Iowa and Oklahoma. Following the completion of four units of CPE, Don joined the Integris staff at the Cancer Institute, serving the needs of patients through times of crisis and joy. Don and his wife have four grown children and one grandson.
Chaplain Larry Guttridge began his journey with INTEGRIS Health in 2007 in Clinical Pastoral Education while working within INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center and INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center. Larry is a Board-Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains.
He holds certification as Grief Recovery Specialist and provides spiritual therapeutic music intervention specializing in acoustic guitar. He is endorsed and commissioned through the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Pastoral degree from Oklahoma Baptist University. Larry brings to us a rich pastoral experience having been involved in pastoral care for the last twenty-eight years.
He previously served as senior pastor with several church congregations within Texas and Oklahoma. Larry and his wife have been blessed with two children and three grandchildren.
Chaplain Bill Simpson is relatively new to the INTEGRIS Health family, having assumed his role in 2022. He brings with him considerable experience in health care chaplaincy as well as congregational ministry. He received a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Master of Music in Church Music Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He completed additional graduate studies in theology and has completed seven units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). He is ordained and is endorsed by Texas Baptists. He obtained Board Certification from the Association of Professional Chaplains in 2016. Bill and his wife are the parents of three adult daughters and have six grandchildren so far. Bill’s passions include care of staff and Palliative Care.
Chaplain Brian Moomey graduated in 1987 from Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has been an ordained minister with Rhema Ministerial Association since 1989. He pastored and worked in missions for many years. To pursue Chaplaincy, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Addiction Psychology, four units of Clinical Pastoral Education with ACPE and he is a Board-Certified Chaplain with The Association of Certified Christian Chaplains since 2016.
He is also a licensed Drug/Alcohol Counselor. His specialties are addiction counseling and end of life care. After being a full-time Chaplain at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Missouri for five years and working in Hospice many years, he had the opportunity to join INTEGRIS Health in May of 2019 and works in a dual role of Hospital/Hospice Chaplain.
Chaplain Perry Walker received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1984 and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1991. He has completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education with INTEGRIS Health.
He is ordained and endorsed for hospital chaplaincy through the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
He has been a Board Certified Chaplain since 2013 with the Association of Professional Chaplains. He is married and has three married children and five grandchildren. Prior to becoming a hospital chaplain, he served as a cross cultural missionary in South America for 24 years.
Chaplain Perry also serves with INTEGRIS Health Language Services providing Spanish translation for patients.
Raenell started her journey at INTEGRIS Heath on December 13, 2021 as a Chaplain Resident. She completed two yearlong chaplain residencies at Baptist Medical Center, and received 8 units of Clinical Pastoral Education. Raenell was promoted to Staff Chaplain at INTEGRIS Health Enid in 2023. She received Board Certification through CPSP in 2025. Raenell is an Ordained Baptist Minister, currently supporting Refugee Fellowship, University Place Christian Church and Restoration Community Church.
Chaplain Gary Bishop received a Bachelor of Business Management/Marketing from the University of Oklahoma. He obtained a Master in Religious Education and Christian Psychology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
He is ordained with the Southern Baptist Convention. Gary began his tenure with INTEGRIS Health as Volunteer Chaplain Coordinator at the Grove Hospital.
He has been employed as Chaplain since 2005. His area of specialty is grief counseling. Gary is married and has two sons, a daughter in law, and one incredible grandson! He remains very active in pulpit supply.
Chaplain Donnetta Hunter is an ordained minister & a licensed chaplain with the Assemblies of God. Donnetta has served as a police chaplain with the Woodward Police Dept. since 2000. She has also served as the hospital chaplain since 2012.
Donnetta was employed as youth pastor for over 20 years & currently fills the pulpit on Sunday – as interim pastor for churches in search of a pastor. Donnetta is married, has 2 children, 4 grandchildren & 1 great-granddaughter.
Chaplain Rev. Jose Velez joined Integris Health in 2024 as Chaplain. He is a licensed minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, he completed the Berean School of the Bible from Global University, and he is currently completing his bachelor on Christian Ministry from Mid-America Christian University.
He is the Lead Pastor of 1ra Iglesia Asamblea de Dios in Woodward, OK, He is a registered court interpreter for the Oklahoma Supreme Court serving as an interpreter in the northwestern part of the state. He serves as a chaplain for the Woodward Police Department. Jose is married to his high school sweetheart and together they have two beautiful daughters. They are owners of El Vintage Pickle, an antique/vintage shop.
Chaplain David Barbee is a dedicated pastoral care provider with over two decades of ministry experience. He earned his bachelor's degree in biblical studies from Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City in 2006. Following graduation, he served as an Associate Pastor in Edmond, Oklahoma, for two years before pastoring a church in Missouri for 11 years.
While in Missouri, David also served as a full-time hospice chaplain and volunteered as a hospital chaplain, deepening his commitment to compassionate, end-of-life spiritual care. In 2019, he returned to Oklahoma to accept a chaplain position at a residential nursing facility in Ponca City. He completed his fourth unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) through the Association of Professional Chaplains in 2023.
Soon after his move, David began volunteering as a chaplain at our hospital in Ponca City. In 2024, he joined the staff as a chaplain and has since played a key role in the ongoing growth and development of the hospital’s Pastoral Care Department.
David has been married to his wife, Jimmi, for over 40 years. They have three grown children and four grandchildren. Outside of his chaplaincy work, David enjoys hiking, camping, motorcycle riding, and bicycling.
Chaplain Donnie Hazlewood is passionate about serving others through both pastoral ministry and chaplaincy. He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2007 and is nearing completion of his Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Over the years, Donnie has served in a variety of church roles in both Texas and Oklahoma, including as a Student Pastor and, most recently, as a Senior Pastor. Before joining INTEGRIS Health Ponca City Hospital as a chaplain, he served as a chaplain with the Ponca City Police Department, providing spiritual support in times of crisis.
Outside of his professional ministry, Donnie is an enthusiastic fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Oklahoma Sooners. He is married and the proud father of three young children.
