Robotic-assisted Surgery

As part of our commitment to advanced, patient-centered care, INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital offers robotic-assisted surgical options using the Mako® system for orthopedic and joint replacement and the da Vinci® system for select gynecologic and general surgeries. These technologies allow surgeons to perform precise, minimally invasive procedures tailored to each patient’s anatomy.

For many patients, robotic-assisted surgery may offer important benefits, including:

  • Reduced pain after surgery.
  • A quicker return to daily activities and work.
  • Shorter hospital stays.
  • Smaller incisions and fewer scars.
  • A decreased risk of infection.

Not every procedure is appropriate for a robotic approach. Your surgeon will discuss whether robotic-assisted surgery is an option based on your individual care plan.
