Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

The Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, located at INTEGRIS Health Heart and Vascular Institute of Northwest Oklahoma, is a medically supervised, evidence-based approach designed to deliver optimal results.

Tailored to each patient, it includes exercise and education within a safe, monitored treatment plan, with ongoing assessment to improve quality of life and facilitate transition to a self-directed home program.

Our multidisciplinary team assists patients with cardiac or pulmonary diseases affecting their function. Your personal physician, who refers you to the program, stays informed with monthly progress reports. The staff includes exercise physiologists, physicians, registered dietitians, registered nurses and respiratory therapists.

What to Expect?

Our staff conducts an initial exercise evaluation tailored to each patient. Additional activities include:

  • Educational classes to learn about reducing risk factors.
  • Exercise sessions that are monitored and safe.
  • Group seminars to learn lifestyle changes together.
  • Health screenings to find opportunities for improvement.

Who Qualifies for Rehabilitation?

Most insurance plans cover portions of the rehabilitation program. Be sure to contact your insurance carrier with additional coverage questions.
