Matthew T. Marr, M.D., is a plastic surgeon with INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital.
He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Marr completed two residencies, one in general surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the other in plastic surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Following his surgical residencies, Dr. Marr pursued an additional fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery from Christine M. Kleinert Institute (University of Louisville). His passion in medicine is to work through complex surgical problems and find solutions that fit each patient and their goals. Dr. Marr is an Oklahoma native who grew up in Oklahoma City.
"I love the diversity of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Patients can have similar problems but have very different treatment goals. I enjoy talking about various options and finding the best treatment for them. There is a lot of creativity within plastic surgery, and I get to tailor my procedure to each individual problem."
He has a wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with family and spending time with his kids. He likes going to the lake, fishing and eating good food.
